In I Love Playing with Data II, I mistakenly showed a plot, as a function of Vaccination Rate, of the “Number of Active Cases” rather than the “Number of Active Cases per 1 Million Population”. The corrected plot is shown below. The two highest numbers, shown in Red, are again the U.S. (#1) followed by the U.K. These numbers are more than 10,000 times higher than the numbers for other countries with about the same Vax Rate.
This does not change my discussion or conclusions. The R-Squared value of 2.2% is still insignificant.
It could be that we are #1 because our government offers the largest monetary incentive for the for-profit hospitals and Medical Industry ... but maybe I'm just being cynical?
