Dear President (fill in the blank):
During the CoVid fiasco you did serious harm to your students by:
Cancelling in-person classes;
Mandating proven-ineffective “vaccines” with known short-term adverse effects and unknown long-term adverse effects; and
Mandating proven-ineffective anti-social-distancing and muzzle-wearing.
You also did serious harm to your University. The Data prove that your institution is neither a center of higher learning nor critical thinking, but rather a Purveyor of specious Narratives.
At one time you may have had a department, Physics, which understood the difference between Narrative and Science; professors who perhaps knew that the foundation of science is testing Narratives with DATA, and believing the DATA not the Narratives. So too your science and physics departments have failed you and us: Rather than being examples of real Science, your Physics and Science Departments have became preachers in the “Follow-the-Science” Religion by putting their faith and belief in Narratives, rather than in the DATA that test these Narratives.
Sincerely,
Tim Ellison, Ph.D.
I am sending a signed hard-copy of the above letter to the Presidents of two of my Alma Maters — The University of Notre Dame (B.S. Engineering-Science), and Indiana University, Bloomington (Ph.D. Physics).
I am also sending a copy of this letter to the Chairs of the Physics and Engineering Departments at these Universities.
And I am sending this letter as an editorial to the Bloomington Herald Tribune, South Bend Tribune, The Indiana Daily Student, and The Observer (the Notre Dame student newspaper).
Feel free to improve upon this letter and send it to your Alma Maters.
It’s really something, isn’t it? Naomi Wolfe said recently that her Alma Mater, Yale, receives more money from HHS than it does from tuition. So there you have it. They are putting cash ahead of the health and well being of their students.
Nice letter. It's been this way for a lot more than just the CoVid fiasco. Since you're a physicist and engineer, you might be able to appreciate this article more than most. I wrote this back in 2011. My points have only grown stronger over the past decade, especially with the new JWST data. https://libertariannews.org/2011/07/08/einstein-was-wrong-2/
