Are you in the Bubble ?

Many are -- but even more aren't, though many pretend

If you live in the liberal Democrat highly-educated University Town of Bloomington Indiana, yeah, you’re probably in the “Mass-Psychosis” Bubble:

• All the Faculty, Students and Employees at the University (I.U.)¹, way over half the population of Bloomington, are (MUST be) “Fully-Vax’d”, run around wearing Muzzles, and get tested every 5 minutes or so. So too everyone at the I.U. School of Medicine and the I.U. Medical Center. If not, they lost their jobs.

• Ditto the City of Bloomington, Monroe County, and the Bloomington Duplicate Bridge Club. I’m pretty sure a Siren goes off if someone sneezes.

So, you think that’s “normal” and believe that everyone else, if they’re smart as you, of course believes the same thing, otherwise they are Anti-Vax Conspiracy-Theory Trump-Tards. (Hey, why hasn’t that Trump-Turd been Canonized? Didn’t he put Fauci in charge and do that “Warp Speed” Vax thing? Just asking for a friend).

But that’s not true, you are actually in the Minority, e.g.,

• On my almost 2 month travels this winter, when visiting a friend in Montomery TX, hardly anyone wore a mask or worried about CoVid-1984. They did the “2-weeks-to-flatten-the-curve” thing more than 2 years ago, and then blew it all off and went back to living their lives. I found that to be a very big disappointment because I could not “Witness” to them (I do Science!) by wearing my organic-heirloom garlic-bulb necklace instead of a Muzzle. And, no, they didn’t all die; in fact, the non-lockdown areas of this country did better than those locking down, as Sweden, who once again sat out a war, and did better than most of Locked-Down Europe.

• Or, you could go to the next town east of Bloomington, Nashville, and see a sign on the door of the Cafe, not saying “Muzzles Required”, but rather, “We love seeing your face”. Think I’ll go there for lunch tomorrow.

• And, according to CDC numbers, only 30% of people in the U.S. are “Fully-Vax’d” (however many Boosters that is today [the "‘science’ keeps changing”]).

• At Davos, the Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel is complaining about having to 'throw away' 30 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine because 'nobody wants them.'

The Fully-Vax’d are NOT the Majority Enlightened Smart People; the Believers in this “Follow-the-Science” Religion are actually a Minority. Of course you would never know this listening to the “news” (i.e. Propaganda).

Of course, if you live in Bloomington AND listen to NPR², or any other MSM to get your world view, you are really Fucked. At NPR (as I think all MSM) you must be Fully-Vax’d and wear a Muzzle in order to work. NPR even have a “Tattle System” in place to anonymously report those who might not be sufficiently toeing-the-line regarding Muzzling.

So, think about this for a minute. Do you think an Intrepid-NPR-”Reporter” (maybe wanting to keep her job and maybe even get a raise, if not a promotion) would put a story on their editor’s desk showing that their isn’t today, and never has been ANY scientific evidence that Muzzles have any effect? And, furthermore, that Muzzles are causing very serious long-lasting problems, especially for our children?³ In New York (yeah, I’m sure I really want to go visit there on my travels!), 2-4 year old toddlers are still mandated to be Muzzled! How Smart and Enlightened is that? Seriously, Gag Me With a Spoon! But they just wont stop!

Our society has become very fragmented. For example, our family used to get together a few times a year to celebrate Holidays and made-up “special occasions” just to get together and have fun (remember what that was?). It’s been 2 1/2 years since we’ve been together (because some of us are un-Vax’d and don’t wear Muzzles, and some are AFRAID).

Like seriously, if you really BELIEVE that the Muzzles and Vax’s protect you, why do you care whether I am Vax’d or Muzzled? Oh, you have children? A CDC report states that, as a few of months ago, 75% of children have already had a cold, I mean CoVid, with an approximately 100.000% survival rate, and are therefore much better protected than you with your Vax and Muzzle will ever be. Remember Natural Immunity??? They used to teach that in Schools.

And, I hate to tell you this, but if you’ve been Vax’d, for some crazy reason, you have a higher probability of getting CoVid today than the Un-Vax’d. Go Figure. That probably explains why the excess death rate for workers, according to Life Insurance Companies, is up about 24%. This increase in death rate cannot be accounted for by CoVid. And the increase in the death rate is higher amongst the white-collar workers (e.g., educators, medical personnel, MSM, Google, Facebook and Twitter, i.e., the Fully-Vax’d and Muzzled), than the blue-collar workers, many of whom have been able to work around the “mandates” and keep their jobs, or gave them up. I don’t know, but it might be something to not think about. Not being Muzzled, I may still be getting enough oxygen to my very few remaining brain cells to still think sometimes, maybe, perhaps a little bit, at least once in a while anyway.

And, one last thing. If you’re in the Bubble and see all the people around you behaving similarly, know that many of them (I could name names) know it’s all a crock, but “Go-Along to Get-Along”⁴. They’re not really true Believers. And, while I’d like to say that there is a special place in Hell for them, I understand. That is the Human Condition⁵. As my brother DavE likes to say, “Hey, do you think that during the Inquisition non-Believer’s flouted their non-Belief? Like, do you want to be Excommunicated? Oh wait, that was then (the times of Galileo), not now. I meant, Like, do you want to be Cancelled?

If you get Cancelled, some (e.g., Glen Greenwald) have found a refuge at Substack! Not everyone needs to seek refuge in Russia (Edward Snowden), or refuge in a high security prison in the U.K. (Julian Assange) for speaking the truth.

Not yet anyway.

1. I got my Ph.D. in physics from I.U., and used to think of it as a Center of Higher Learning. I now see it as not an institution promoting Critical Thinking, but rather a Purveyor of Narrative. And I’ll bet Galileo, if he were to come back, would back me up on this. He’d say, yeah, not much has changed except perhaps some of the names.

2. NPR: Is that “Narrative Promotion Radio” or “National Propaganda Radio”? I always forget. I used to give them lots of money, and even volunteered to help with their Fund Raisers.

4. Here I’m just talking about the “Going-Along-to-Get-Along” folks, neglecting all the others that have been coerced in order to keep their jobs, or brainwashed.

5. The Human Condition — e.g.:

• Re-read The Grand Inquisitor in Dostoyevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov; (free on Librivox.org in print or audio form) or

• Look at a YouTube video of Asch Conformity Experiment. Most will go along with what they know to be the obviously wrong answer just to go along with the group. It takes just one person to stand up for the truth to break this spell. STAND UP! In the words of Arlo Guthrie in Alice’s Restaurant (go to about 14:30 in this LONG song, maybe even longer than my Brown County Chigger Ballad):

  • If ONE does it, they’ll think “he’s really sick”; and

  • If TWO do it, “they’ll think your both faggots”, and

  • If THREE do it, “they’ll think it’s an organization”; and

  • If FIFTY do it, “they may think it’s a movement! The Alice’s Restaurant Anti-Masacree (of Children) Movement”.

So, Please Stand UP and help Pop the Bubble!

Yes, Masks can be very helpful, but only if properly used: take all those Masks and use them to cover up your TV set!
