Well, I did speak to a neighbor a couple miles down the road, who hunts and skins racoons and asked him if he wanted the carcass to skin. He said no, because it is not winter (they don't have the under-coat).
So, I threw the carcass into the forest for the coyotes to eat.
Wolf-dog is eating raw pork-loin and chicken legs this morning.
: )
That spelling doesn't look right to me.
Hi !
So, Substack says you have 219 "reads", I guess I'm one of 219.
So, you are either:
Crazy
A Bot
or perhaps an AI.
So, my new wolf-dog does not have a possum playing possum on my porch this morning,
but rather a racoon that is certifiably dead.
Of course I don't know how this racoon died .. but I need to deal with its corpse.
Any suggestions ?
Oh, have I misunderstood - do I read that many Substacks?
No wonder I just yesterday deleted 4,500 or so because Gmail was threatening to charge me rent.
I don't post anything but my mistake I reposted a couple of things when I didn't know what the button was for.
You could skin it and make a coon skin hat and feed the carcass to the dog.
Either that or throw it over the fence for the neighbour to ponder.

Interesting about the pork loin.
My father said not to give dogs pork because pigs are omnivores.
I don't know how that's a reason but that was his reason.
What I know is that when I put out a pound or so of raw pork and chicken for my "foster" wolf-dog, Shadow, Shadow will always eat the pork first.
Dogs can't always be trusted to know what's good for them but they have not gone extinct.
Our adequately fed dog gets constipated eating acorns.
Well -- it doesn't look right to me either!
And, on the Other-Other hand, that's how also the Audubon Society spells it ...
I could add that also Google spells it that way, but would that add or subtract from the credence of the spelling ?
Has this got anything to do with will o the wisp
